Why compare these two
If you are choosing software for a clinic in Spain, QVET is a name you probably already know. Artiprax is the opposite: a new company with a product in production for months, not years. We are not comparing to decide which one is better — that question has no general answer — but so you can see in a single table how the two differ on pricing model, on how you sign up, and on what each one states about VeriFactu (Spain's tax-agency invoicing system, mandatory according to the AEAT "before 1 January 2027" for companies and "before 1 July 2027" for everyone else[5]), about AI clinical reports and about PRESVET (the Ministry of Agriculture's antibiotic prescription register).

"Not stated on its website" means exactly that: we did not find it on QVET's public pages on 29/08/2026. We have not accessed demos or customer documentation, and absence of mention is not absence of a feature: ask the vendor. Clinic and country figures are self-reported by each vendor, ours included. QVET's quotes are our translation from Spanish; the originals are in the sources. Our prices are before VAT; QVET's prices we do not know.
Who each one is for
QVET is the right choice if your clinic is large or has several sites, if you want a vendor with thousands of declared clinics and a presence in 31 countries, and if you are after a broad product catalogue: its website offers four different editions, the trade press reports VeriFactu in use since July 2025 and its AI in more than 2,000 clinics. Also if you prefer a sales process with a demo before deciding. On all of that, today, QVET has what we do not, and we say so.
Artiprax is the right choice if you are a vet starting out or a small clinic and you want three specific things: to see the price before talking to anyone, to sign up today and try it with your own cases without a salesperson, and to pay per clinic, not per vet you bring on. The voice-dictated clinical report is included, VeriFactu is included, and the free plan does not expire.
Where Artiprax falls short
A competitor is writing this, so here is the part that usually goes unwritten.
- Track record. Founded in 2026. Months in production, not years, and pilot clinics behind us, not thousands. If your main criterion is the vendor's solidity, we are not that option today.
- Modules. We have no hospitalisation, no laboratory integration and no multi-site management, and stock control is basic. A clinic that needs those today will not find them in Artiprax. (We claim nothing about QVET's modules beyond what its website publishes.)
- VeriFactu. The module is built and our manufacturer's declaration is published, but as of today no clinic has completed activation with us. QVET, according to the trade press, has had clinics invoicing since July 2025.
- PRESVET. The feature exists and runs against the Ministry's official API, but we have not yet made a single real submission.
- AI. We were not first: QVET's ESCRIBA was in more than 2,000 clinics before we had pilots.
- Scope. Spain only.
What we do, plainly: published pricing charged per clinic; sign-up without a salesperson; a free plan with no expiry; VeriFactu included in every plan; and zero audio retention. None of that is exclusive to us: QVET states it charges no monthly per-vet fees and does not store audio. They are arguments, not exclusives.
Three questions for any vendor
- How much does it cost, in writing? With or without VAT, users included, lock-in, and which modules are billed separately (VeriFactu, AI, PRESVET).
- What happens to my audio and my data? Whether the dictation recording is stored and for how long, and how I export records, owners and invoicing the day I leave.
- Does the software send VeriFactu and PRESVET to the official services itself, and how many clinics are already doing it? Ask for a number. Today that question leaves us at zero on both.
